Inspired by their backyard, the woods of Northern Minnesota, father-and-son team Ted and Nathaniel Nienow handcraft wood home décor based on natural forms, recreating the distinctive characteristics of an actual flower—form, color, and texture—for each design. Constructing delicate flowers from wood requires careful design and perpetual patience. From making the first thin cuts in an ash board to sanding, shaping, staining, assembling, and finishing, each blossom is handled at least 30 times before it’s placed in an arrangement. Ted and Nathaniel are delighted and grateful for the opportunity to share their love of nature and fine handcrafted work with you.
